Looking for a cracked backend engineer who can own features end to end and help scale the services powering one of the leading perps platforms on Base (chain). Ideal profile: 5+ years backend experience, strong TypeScript/Node.js, production distributed systems experience, and real Web3/EVM knowledge. Primary stack: TypeScript/Node.js Also important: Python, Kafka, Redis, distributed systems, Web3 infra, EVM chains Bonus: Rust Perps / derivatives / trading systems experience is highly preferred. Strong blockchain knowledge is required. You’ll work on real trading infra: execution flows, positions, liquidations, pricing, risk logic, onchain/offchain coordination, and high throughput backend services.
